I discovered this place in the Yellow Pages years ago when trying to find a pair of sunglasses. No one understood what I was looking for until I came here. Issac understood what I was saying when i told him I needed sunglasses to make the world duller not brighter because of my sensitive eyes. He recommended a pair of Maui Jim's with a grey lense vs a bronze lense. They wre perfect. Since then have bough reading glasses for my husband, regular glasses for me -amazing selection and they really know their stuff. Finally went in to buy new contacts and he recommended bi-focal lenses vs regular which I love! I now no longer need to wear reading glasses with my contacts.Highly recommend them.

after giving her my union card to check my balance she took quite some time to return. I had a very good experience at VK Optical. Tucked into a small shop on St. Clair, I found a lot of interesting frames, much nicer than what the box stores sell. My prescription is a bit complicated, but the team at VK Optical did a thorough check before making them and my new glasses are the best. Perfect. Friendly and helpful people.

The owner and wife are a good team who provide congenial, expert and efficient service. The selection of brands are wide, with both value oriented and expensive luxury, such as Cogan. I was happy with the glasses I got there- the owner even made sure to double check the lens and sent back a defective one for a new one without any trouble to me. The location is ideal, near both the North York Centre and Sheppard Stations- and there is even parking in the rear. I would recommend this optical.
