This place is right in the middle of the village by the Shoppers but you have to turn into this little courtyard to find it. It's right near another pizza place (we liked this place much better). The crust was really good. Not too doughy. Also the ingredients tasted fresh. I had the veggie pizza and my friend had a meat pizza. Both were hot and didn't seem like they were sitting there all day. We'll probably try this place for delivery to the hotel sometime. One of the better pizza places in Whistler at a reasonable price. Parking, on the street, is usually available nearby and is free. Some dishes (ie full rack of lamb and some multi-course specials) cost over $25, but are good buys. Sunday special is a 3 course Roast Beef and Yorkshire (a small town in Northern Italy????} Pudding. Very good. Victor the Mtr'd, and one of the owners, is very Italian, and fun. We order from Hot Oven once a week. This pizza is deep dish. You get a huge amount of toppings for the money unlike the chain pizza places. All the toppings are fresh and you can taste the difference immediately. Even the crust is good with the honey glaze. I usually don't eat the crust edges from the chain stores but when I get Hot Oven I have to eat it all. It's that good. Do yourself a favor and support the little guy who still cares about quality! I can't bring myself to order from pizza chains anymore since we discovered this place. Only thing I'd like to see is a seafood pizza on the menu. I recommend the Orient duck pizza, Hot Oven Select or Tropic Thunder (if you like spicy). Read more
