My wife is trying to cure me of the habit of ordering a dish just because I don't know what it is or I have never had it before. More often then not it turns out to be a disappointment. Tonight I ordered the bavette (flank) steak. It was just okay for me as it is a tougher cut of beef, but that's my fault. Our meals also came with perfectly steamed green beans. Three out of four steaks were perfect - one rare, two medium rare.
