My husband found this place while working. We drive from Warkworth to JPs! (an hour) just for lunch! he makes everything himself from the fresh cut fries to the chicken and beef and pork. His spices and sauces are delicious and authentic. My husband LOVES the pulled pork poutine, while I enjoy the classic chicken pita with his homemade traditional tzatziki sauce. Can't beat it! We like to come to Family Wok for lunch as a group of us work downtown Oshawa and we all love the Family Wok. Today we went for lunch and in a bit of a hurry. Wonderful experience. Atmosphere is beautiful, good food, staff is always so friendly. Good deal when they have the early bird special. Went in October. The man that served my family had a darker complexion, very friendly and charismatic! Had a unique name that I wish I could remember. He joked around with us and gave my brother a free dessert for his birthday. Absolutely want to go back and have him serve us again... he was honestly the best waiter Ive ever had. Read more
