I’ve never done this before. Just had dinner at Shoeless Joe’s in Orleans. New Sportsbar/Restaurant on Innes Road.
How refreshing to see a restaurant that is not a countrywide chain but owned by a local person.
The menu was imaginative the service was excellent and the food was very good.
If you live in Ottawa/Orleans and want something different. PS The fries are awesome!

It is a hole in the wall and everything is served on disposable plates. But OMG! NOM, NOM, NOM. The food was good and reasonably priced. (And really, aren't the best places holes in the wall?) The only quibble was the mango lassi (I've had better) and the hours (which are weird). But other than that - GO!!!! I will be back - a lot.

I have to prempt everything that I am going to say with I did enjoy the food so much that I may go there again for dinner (am on contract in the area).
The hot and sour sea-food soup appeared to be small, but when the flavours filled my mouth, and I discovered 3 large cleaned shrimp (only tail bit remaining) I'm happy to say I'm quite pleased with this selection.
The mango salad was not available as a 'plain' mango salad, but also came with shrimp, making it $5-$7 more than I usually pay for mango salad. Again the shrimp were large, clean and fresh (good 'bite', not soggy at all), but the dressing seemed made at the last minute and didn't contain the rich complexity that the soup did. I don't know if I would order this again.

Wow, this is miles better than most sushi places in town, including some that claim to be authentically Japanese and then go on to charge you $25/person for *crunchy* sashimi (yes, you read that right).
